" issue in Android mobile ..Dear Users,<br />
<br />
I have faced a weird issue in android mobiles .. some times while connecting to a wifi even though you provide correct password wifi keeps connecting and disconnecting at "obtaining ip address..".<br />
<br />
To fix this ..<br />
first disconnect from the network .. go to wifi settings .. from there navigate to advanced wifi settings .. check the "Use Static Ip" then come back and enter password and connect to the wifi again .. now while it tries to connect .. go to advanced again and remove the check box and come back and see you will be connected !!!!<br />
Funny fix ! Worked for me many times !!!Ravikanthhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11702786862373845556noreply@blogger.com35tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3061107937529584422.post-7674949746805012922012-03-13T11:45:00.006+05:302012-03-13T11:45:59.167+05:30Windows 8 Virtual Wifi Router !!!Good News !<br />

<br />
You may get this error in the following scenarios<br />
<br />
<ul>
<li>When your wifi is turned off</li>
<li>When your drivers dosent support virtualization . So please try to find the latest drivers which can support virtualization.</li>
</ul>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
How to check if your drivers support virtualization ??</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
There are two ways to check if your wifi card and drivers support virtualization </div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<ol>
<li>Go to help in my tool and click on check button. If it says "Yes" it means it supports
virtualization and "No" means it doesn't support
virtualization.</li>
<li>If my tool says nothing or if you want to check directly without intervention of tool please run your command prompt in Administrator mode and run the following command "netsh wlan show drivers" and check for "Hosted network supported : Yes". (Check the sample image below with highlighted text)</li>
<li><span style="text-align: center;">If your drivers says "yes" and then my tool is not able to start let me know i will check it and will fix it for you.</span></li>
<li><span style="text-align: center;">If it says "No" it means you have old drivers which doesn't support virtualization.</span></li>
</ol>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<ol><ol><ol>
<li> Even after installing the latest drivers it says "No" it means your hardware is not supporting virtualization.</li>
</ol>
</ol>
</ol>

<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;"><br /></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">I want to let all of you know that there are issues in starting of virtual wifi router when connectify is installed or used previously and un-installed.</span><br />
<ul>
<li><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: red; font-size: large;">Issues with Connectify</span></li>
<ul>
<li><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">If connectify is installed and un - installed it is disabling wifi network so wifi router is not able to start and staying in configure page</span></li>
<ul>
<li><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: lime; font-size: large;"><u><a href="http://www.virtualwifirouter.com/p/downlooad.html">I have fixed this issue and the fix is available in new version 2.1.0.2 Version</a><a name='more'></a></u></span></li>
</ul>
<li><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">If you have connectify still installed on the pc please stop the service of it in services.msc or uns-install it because if any virtual wifi is started outside it , it stops it forcefully you will face problems like wifi starts and stops immideatly.</span></li>

Must Read ...Few people asked me that the password is empty after configuring. <div>
<ul>
<li>Yes that is a feature.</li>
<li> I am not saving the password. Once you configure i give the password to windows and windows takes care of the password next time you start it.</li>
<li>Once you configure you need not enter the password again and again.</li>
<li>Start or stop the wifi normally it will start with last configured name and password.</li>
<li>Only configure it again if you want to change the wifi name or password.</li>
<li>If you forgot your old name dont worry just go to configure and and re configure it with new password</li>
</ul>

Hi today i have observed that if you have some alternate software for creating wifi router like <b>connenctify </b>please remove it because when any other wifi is started outside he is forcefully stopping it using the service he has installed in your pc.<br />
<br />
Please contact me if you need any other information :)<br />
<br />
Have a nice day ! </div>

Have a nice day :)Ravikanthhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11702786862373845556noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3061107937529584422.post-33373343813012047592011-09-24T01:05:00.000+05:302011-10-12T12:00:32.116+05:30Launching Virtual wifi Router<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;">We have finally made it Virtual </span>WiFi<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"> Router !</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"><br />
</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;">It can turn your windows 7 </span>PC<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"> (with </span>WiFi<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"> card in it) into a </span>WiFi<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"> router. </span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;">Windows 7 has an option to create </span>AdHoc<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"> networks but devices like mobiles , tabulates will not be able to connect to this network. Using this tool you will be able to create a </span>WiFi hot spot<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"> which can be accessed using any </span>WiFi<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"> enabled devices.</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"><br />
</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;">You can now Download our Free Virtual Router .We thought of selling it for 20$ per download ,</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;">Later we decided to launch for free.</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"><br />
</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;">You can download it <a href="http://www.virtualwifirouter.com/p/downlooad.html">here</a>.</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"><br />
</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;">Completely scanned with various anti-virus programs. As a developer we care for user's privacy and data.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEivLTthxi3sWVvLlajX4RKU5x2eSU4mvQv3Na7GJ8Kg7_RBRBbI8sc5BFyCisn8fVNIWMQ2lojyoR_WzwdKmSwrb-WALLbh8PBUBldXVMiKZHLLMXPKL3Rq2zn5xtnJIyBOEtKmPUgWTYo/s1600/2.PNG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="218" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEivLTthxi3sWVvLlajX4RKU5x2eSU4mvQv3Na7GJ8Kg7_RBRBbI8sc5BFyCisn8fVNIWMQ2lojyoR_WzwdKmSwrb-WALLbh8PBUBldXVMiKZHLLMXPKL3Rq2zn5xtnJIyBOEtKmPUgWTYo/s320/2.PNG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br /><br />
1) After downloading Configure with a WiFi hot spot name which you wish other to see.<br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;">2) Select password with more than 8 Character and click setup </span>hot spot<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"> .</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgGIkMVaFOMkmXZf0CLbd5_Qhmyat9VWFO7BMwbSMEeeRSOzsr461osRjMHvMVPDoeeZ9TK54aI1t0w7qrZsi0g6NSfqyQ8iMptokH1wy6rUjxWka9MmsubM32Yem-ZBTfN8AQPSzcFN9k/s1600/1.PNG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="218" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgGIkMVaFOMkmXZf0CLbd5_Qhmyat9VWFO7BMwbSMEeeRSOzsr461osRjMHvMVPDoeeZ9TK54aI1t0w7qrZsi0g6NSfqyQ8iMptokH1wy6rUjxWka9MmsubM32Yem-ZBTfN8AQPSzcFN9k/s320/1.PNG" width="320" /></a></div>
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"><br />
</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;">3) Click start.</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"><br />
</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;">Congrats you are done.</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"><br />
</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;">Note : We are not storing the </span>WiFi<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"> password which you provide while configuring the router. Instead we leave it operating system to do that once successfully started we just clear the passwords entered so that no one can unmask the masked characters with any tool.</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"><br />
</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;">Now you have hosted a </span>WiFi<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"> router using your PC. Connect to the </span>WiFi<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"> router from your mobile/</span>Ipad<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"> to the one you just configured. Enjoy the </span>internet<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;">.</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"><br />
</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"><br />
</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;">If you like please share with others . We will come up more features in next versions and even planning to open source the virtual </span>WiFi<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"> router in further versions if possible. </span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"><br />
</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"><br />
</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;">Thank you ! :)</span><br />
